چکیده
Abstract Purpose To investigate the potential factors associated with prevalence of meniscal repair Methods Patients who received partial meniscectomy or in our institution from Jan 2015 to Dec 2019 were included current study. The inclusion criteria (1) meniscus tear treated using repair, (2) without concomitant anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, (3) not multiligamentous injury. Demographic data, including sex, age, body mass index (BMI), injury-to-surgery interval and intra-articular such as location injury, medial lateral, ACL rupture option procedure (partial repair) documented medical records. Univariate analysis consisted chi-square. Multivariate logistic regression was then performed adjust for confounding factors. Results 592 patients 399 males 193 females a mean age 28.7 years (range 10 75 years) In univariate analysis, male ( p = 0.002), aged 40 younger < 0.001), increased weight 0.010), Posterior torn (0.011), concurrent ruputure lateral 0.039) early surgery 0.001) all repair. However, After adjusting factors, we found that (OR, 0.35; 95% CI, 0.17 - 0.68, injury 3.76; 1.97 – 7.21, side menisci 3.29; 1.43 7.55, 0.005), site 0.15; 0.07 0.32, duration 0.46; 0.28 0.82, 0.008) Conclusions Meniscal especially those is likely be repaired. Additionally, order increase slow down progression OA, surgical should within two weeks after when located at posterior. Study design Case-control study; level evidence, 3.

Meniscal repair with the RapidLoc meniscal repair device.
BACKGROUND The RapidLoc is an all-inside, self-adjusting, flexible meniscal repair device that combines a suture with an anchor component and, by using a reinforced sliding knot, allows for tightening to compress and hold the repaired meniscal segments. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical success of the RapidLoc device. METHODS A prospective consecutive series of meniscal r...
متن کاملRisk factors for meniscectomy after meniscal repair.
BACKGROUND Previous research suggests that a substantial percentage of meniscal repairs fail, resulting in a subsequent meniscectomy. Risk factors for failure have been investigated using small cohorts, providing ambiguous results. PURPOSE To measure the frequency of and elucidate risk factors for subsequent meniscectomies after meniscal repair using a large study population from multiple sur...
متن کاملWhich Factors Are Associated with Monitoring Goal Progress?
Three studies examined how people assess their progress on personal goals (e.g., whether they compare their progress to the past and/or to a desired target state), along with factors that might influence the nature of progress monitoring (e.g., whether the goal involves attaining a positive outcome or avoiding a negative outcome). Study 1 involved semi-structured interviews with 40 participants...
متن کاملNew Complication Associated With All-Inside Meniscal Repair Device
BACKGROUND The importance of meniscal preservation has become widely accepted, and meniscal repair techniques have evolved over recent years. With new techniques come new complications, which are critical to recognize. PURPOSE To describe a new complication of foreign body reaction from a nonabsorbable suture anchor associated with improper placement of the all-inside meniscal device. STUDY...
